1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use govern your use of Nur Prayer Times (“Nūr,” “the App”), provided by ERT Investment LLC. By using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Religious information disclaimer
Nūr supports personal worship planning but does not replace a mosque, qualified scholar, or local religious authority. Prayer times and Qibla direction can vary because of location, calculation method, device sensors, and local practice. Nur AI provides general educational information, not a fatwa, and may be incomplete or mistaken. Verify important matters with trusted primary sources and a qualified scholar.
3. Quran content
Quran data is provided by Quran.Foundation and remains subject to its applicable terms and rights. You may use Quran content displayed in the App for personal reading and worship. You may not extract, scrape, modify, sell, sublicense, or separately redistribute Quran Foundation content or raw API data through the App. Nūr is not an official Quran Foundation application.
4. Nur AI acceptable use
Nur AI is limited to questions about Islam and Muslim life. Do not attempt to bypass its topic or safety limits, use it for unlawful or harmful activity, submit another person’s sensitive information without authorization, or rely on it as medical, legal, financial, emergency, or binding religious advice.
5. Permissions and third-party services
Some features depend on optional iOS permissions and third-party services, including Apple MapKit and speech recognition, Quran Foundation, OpenAI, notification delivery, device sensors, and installed navigation apps. Those services may change, become unavailable, or operate under separate terms.
6. Availability and warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that a notification, adhan, Qibla reading, nearby result, Quran request, or AI response will always be delivered or correct.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ERT Investment LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the App. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so those limitations may not apply to you.
8. Changes and termination
We may update the App or these Terms, suspend features, or discontinue the App. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, service providers, rights holders, or the integrity of Quranic content.
